...An old dream has finally come true. We were always drawn by the challenge that all musicians feel regarding the creation of instrumental music. It’ll soon be three years that this notion has been occupying our minds, but soon everyone will be able to hear the final result of our project. | The Goddess Nemesis Project consists of musicians from the Hungarian progmetal band, AGE OF NEMESIS. When we came up with the project, we thought about how great it would be to realize our ideas with the collaboration of guest musicians. Our manager, Lajos Gulyás, looked up many musicians all over the world. Some said yes immediately, some said no; nevertheless, we tried everything. In the end, we managed to amass eight guest artists to work with us. These fantastic people offered up their talent without any form of remuneration, purely for the sake of the music. This seems virtually unbelievable in today’s world... Perhaps that’s why the album is titled: The Play Is The Thing... |
| The music is very varied and moves along a broad mood scale. We didn’t want to make the album too long, because it’s full of very complex tracks that require a great deal of attention. We’d definitely like to see a continuation of this project in the future. |
